I'm not seeing any retreat, the article itself is hoping to see the blunder in the Hormuz Strait continue for the rest of his presidency. When President Bush Jr got Congressional Authorization for the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the Democrats ran the Senate and fully backed Bush.

It's not about replacing Republicans with Democrats. It's about replacing Republicans and Democrats with politicians who proudly refuse AIPAC, be them Democrats, 3rd Party or Independent. That is the only way to truly isolate the Trump regime, outside of a Revolution with a capital R.
