I just saw an article showing an original notebook design. My 🔥take was “nah.” But then I read that the designer was mitigating the “wrist digging problem.” Then I was “Oh that makes… nah. Just use the top edge.”

So many problems with this design: Weak spot at the hinge -- very small, likely to break Needs 2x table space to 'flip' a page Doesn't solve any real problems (can use top edge as mentioned, or just rotate book 180º) If lined paper, will force a strange empty block in top right Weird
