i keep discovering things I probably should have know for years, like pressing OPTION to copy a file's pathname way easier than get info > select pathname > copy

Yeah, Options is nifty, toggles more *options* in various menus! For example right clicking on an item in dock to toggle "Quit" to "Force Quit".

There are many I use all the time, like Command-Shift-Period: show hidden files, but the king these days has to be Command-Shift-4: select portion of screen and save pic to clipboard You can also drag files into dialogs or terminals to get paths btw
