This seems cool, but every month when GitHub emails me about my continued GitHub Copilot access, I keep looking for how to disable it and find nothing. Is there some way to disable Copilot? Or do I just have to accept that there's an AI tuba in my face?

I don't have an option to manage the subscription... I get an email each month telling me that I continue to get access to it for another month.

Huh. Must be the open source contributions route. I have no insight into that one. I just have it disabled in vs and vs code. I can try to find out if you want.

Will take a look in my morning. Likely open source contributions mean you qualified, maybe used it for a bit and then have stopped? In the editor it is very easy to switch off, and for normal people we only install when you say you actually want to opt in to using it.

Honestly, this is probably mostly just me grumbling after a frustrating day of little things. I did try out Copilot a long time ago and found it very frustrating and lacking at that time and never really tried it since. I'm pretty sure I have it disabled in VSCode.
