I got the apartment! I get the keys and sign the lease on the 20th. It's been 2 months today since my other place went up in flames and I was displaced. Glad to have it mostly resolved already. Still it's to do.

My apartment building caught on fire earlier today. Lots of damage and my apartment (209) is right beside the one where it happened (208). Made it out immediately and and safe, but scary as fuck. I still don’t have any answers on how much damage there is, or if the building or my stuff will survive.

The telescope and the box of lenses survived my apartment fire. From August 5th to the 17th, assumed it wouldn't have made it out of there. I saw it survived last Monday and just got it back again earlier today. @coelesti.ca will continue on sometime later in the future! 🖖

I didn't get the shelter portion on my disability cheque this month, but I also don't have rent to pay right now. It ended up evening out, although I'm still helping pay for my stay at my mom's apartment and brother's place while I'm floating around.
