A number of ex Warwickshire players may be at Glamorgan next year. Whether the resources will be good enough and the on-field leadership team is open to question. They announced their first professional player recently.... Middlesex have Middlesex issues just like the men's team.

It will be interesting to see how similar Glamorgan's starting line up is to the team in this final. I suspect that the side that turned up on Sunday would get a real hiding from most Tier 1 sides. So what happens to the squad members who won't make the cut next season?

My understand is that at least half of the current squad are being moved on - either because they don't want to "go pro", or because they aren't considered good enough.

The article that's just appeared in The Cricketer says only 4 players are being retained, with Parfitt and Gammon being two of them.

Thanks for flagging, I hadn't seen that. There we go then. It's essentially a different team with the same name.
