i feel like im the only person in the world who actually have a line with bad people/companies. after roblox did enough, i just stopped playing. i didn't do it consciously, it just irks me enough to not enjoy playing as much. and it feels different than the performative boycott.

other examples of mine are pokemon (and to a wider extent, nintnedo as a whole) and Windows. i haven't played a pokemon since X and i haven't bought a pokemon since Sun. did i intentionally decide to stop to protest the lowering quality? no. but i noticed and simply didn't want to buy it?

and this sounds so simple but holy hell people just suck at letting go. maybe I'm a sociopath for being able to do this but microsoft said they were gonna end support for windows 10 and then... I just moved to Linux. after using windows my whole life. starting off with my old windows 98.

im always better off for it too. roblox IS evil and now i don't support them. now i play polytoria which i get SIGNIFICANTLY more enjoyment out of. Microsoft IS evil and now im not being tracked by them. now i get to use all the enshittification-resistant, free open source stuff.
