🚨 EXCLUSIVE: No Kings organizer Ezra Levin SOUNDS ALARM after Meta suspended the movement’s Instagram during nationwide protests. LEVIN: “We might be seeing something similar from Meta in our country right now.” “We're not gonna stop organizing against this regime.”

Meta froze the No Kings accounts at peak mobilization. All that free speech cosplay, and the switch got flipped the second the protest got too big. They are terrified of organized people. Keep organizing.

Funnily enough, I felt today was much less busy than the No King's Day earlier this year. I personally felt like the energy for my local wasn't as focused on the upcoming voting as it should have been either, but that's another story.

The “No kings” movement peaked a while back. The last one that happened in March in DC was a joke. We were 200 people, maybe?!?, as we walked down Pennsylvania Ave toward SW. Who holds a protest on the mall during the cherry blossom festival? Indivisible.org is still communicating on meta. WHY???

Because the Nazis are getting more psychotic. People want to stay alive so we can vote this mess out. A woman getting pummeled in the face and a school shooting this week may have cautioned a few attendees to save it for another day. Too much at stake. But guaranteed, the loyalty is still there.

I didn't even know about half of that. But I feel that's not the root of the issue, Alex Pretti and Renee Good were still fresh on people's minds in the spring.

This was the attack on the woman at the Trump rally this past week. For no other reason than what the t-shirt says. And no one helped her as GROWN MEN were punching her in the face. Despicable. And the school shooting killed 3 small kids, a teacher and wounded many more. Crazy stuff this week.

I agree and think the messaging associated with today’s event was confusing. Reading that it’s a non partisan event aimed at turning out the vote of democrats, independents and republicans wasn’t necessarily what I wanted. organizing “I voted blue” celebrations would have been preferable.

To be fair, I don't believe it should be a sign that the movement to replace conservatives in government is failing, but that most of the energy and attention is being spent on other political activities at a time when other political action is more valuable. The proof is in the pudding, as they say
