Mike Rogers from 2012 would like a word with Mike Rogers today. Same defense, same period. Funny how it only turned disqualifying once El-Sayed held the position too.

Not quite the same. El-Sayed signed onto a letter that supported the protestors, not the Muslim Brotherhood specifically Rogers was looking for "moderates" in the Muslim Brotherhood (not really a thing) El-Sayed's 2012 position is the more circumspect, informed, defensible one, from this exchange
