Am I the only one that finds the speed settings on boardgamearena completely useless? Whether I select 1 move a day or 24, the games take the same amount of time to complete. I'll set it to 24, set the active hours to 8:00-20:00 and every single times someone joins from the other side of the world.

Then they proceed to only take there turns outside of my set active hours for the table. So at most I can only take 1 turn a day, sometimes I even get lucky and have 0 turns in a day. It just fucking drags. How has BGA not freaking addressed this issue.

Clearly tanking the karma for players that ignore time zone settings is not doing a good enough job to deal with this. All I'm asking for are either timezone restrictions, like +/-5 hours or something. Or A more active notification for the player to make them positively confirm the active times
