Currents is open source: github.com/matteomarjan... But honestly I didn't have the time to write proper readme and contribution guide, so it could be hard to understand the codebase

My bad, I didn't see the android code at first. I'll sign up for the beta, but it would be nice if the app was available somewhere else than the play store for the ones trying to get away from google

It makes absolute sense. Another user asked to put it on Aurora store, do you think it would be enough? From what I understand, it will be there automatically once it'll finally come out of beta testing and be published on the Play Store. So it's only a matter of time.
