While it may be more pervasive, incompetent idiots on the right are not unique to the younger generation. See…Trump, Hegseth (and the entire Cabinet), Congress, ideological corporate leaders (Bari Weiss), and anti-intellectual voters.

I remember much of the Bush Administration’s failures were attributed to the massive amount of politically connected appointees working in important jobs they were woefully unqualified for, because they prized loyalty over qualifications.
