They want us to federate our Own bluesky? Or fuck off to Mastodon?

They are saying you can still be on an ATProto network, but just not use Bluesky's app. Ish.

I’m sure they’d love there to be but blueskies federation has always been theoretical and theres no incentive not to go to something either a proven history of sort of working.
