I've used linux for years, but lately, there've been some serious issues with very basic functionallity. * ssh to AIX machines is currently broken in debian (bug 1103392). * rsync --link-dest is broken (Various bugreports, ex. 1106088. I need it for hardlink backups). Known since like a year!

SSH and rsync are extremely basic functions. They absolutely just must work. Also, my laptop freezes if I keep it running for a few days to a week. And i had way to many different kernel crashes on my server and other devices last year. What's going on, linux used to be rliable and working!!!
