Hey want to help the whistle goblins I print with make more whistles? There are approximately eleventy-billion wishlists here with filament begging to be bought and turned into whistles to deploy to across the country. Buy some filament and help the cause: linktr.ee/WhistleWishl...

is there a reason it isn't cheaper to just buy whistles? 3d printing can't be the cheapest way to make them.

I bought whistles all last fall. The cheapest I ever got was 10 cents a whistle, but most of the time it was more like 30. I print 800 whistles off a $20 roll of filament, the math is very very clear which is cheaper, not even mentioning volume.

Why do you think fabrication is overall cheaper given that 3d printing cannot benefit from economies of scale?

because we have a distributed network of printers all doing their part and shipping small quantities (100-1000 out across the country). You *could* order 200,000 whistles from China, get them eventually (in weeks-months), then break them up and ship them around, but by that time ICE won.

We shipped somewhere around 20,000 whistles *today* (850 of those were mine) and literally the only thing we need are some coils of plastic to turn into a fleet of whistles. Help out! linktr.ee/WhistleWishl...

Please post more about your 850--Is that a day's printing of what pattern on what printer? In how many plates?

Isn’t there anywhere else we can buy you filament than Big Baddies R Us? (I know the wishlist feature makes it easy.)

Every wish list comes up with my address for delivery. Is it just me?

I did not set these up so I can't really troubleshoot, but when I click on one and choose something and go to checkout, I see the gift recipeint as the default shipping choice. I *could* uncheck that and ship it to myself, but I wouldn't do that.

Thank you!!!! When I first open the links it says my name and address at the top but when I add to cart and check out, the address is there. I appreciate you walking me through the whole process.
