AeroPress has a coffee grinder now. It’s £199. I love my AeroPress, it’s a great *entry level* coffee maker. Does £199 sound entry level? Ever since Tiny bought AeroPress they’ve be steadily cranking up their prices. I’d love to see @jameshoffmann.bsky.social review this alongside his take

aeropress.co.ukAeroPress Manual Coffee GrinderThe most compact high-performance manual grinder available. Slim, durable all metal build with Italian-made burrs, 60+ adjustable grind settings and an extra-long hand crank. Fits in an AeroPress Coffee Maker.

When I see Tiny attached to something I look somewhere else. Aeropress is effectively dead to me

For a manual grinder! It looks nice and all but that's obscene. Why would you not get the hario equivalent

Or any for that matter! I have a Porlex which is pretty pricey, but less than half of this

I think they're gonna struggle to position themselves as a luxury brand if that's their intent

Yikes. £199 AeroPress coffee grinder sounds like the type of thing one would buy if one wanted to impress people who know how much the AeroPress coffee grinder costs. 😬

I bet it will do ok. The draw to me is how you can take it all apart and repair so it will last forever.

I mean a lot of grinders already do that
