It was good until it wasn’t. At mile 60 sudden energy loss. After a day of rain and muddy trails, the idea of freezing temps and 40 miles was a lot Happy to say I made it through the night and finished the Mines of Spain 100 mile run (in Iowa ofc). 10th 100 mile finish

There were many good moments in this race, but too often the hard times can outweigh the good times. This is my annual reminder to work hard for something that seems out of reach and turn yourself inside out to be successful
