I got to see The Doors in concert at the Hollywood Bowl in 1968. Actually a friend let us in so we only saw part of it and had to wander until we found seats. Lots of match lighting during my favorite song (no one had cell phones to raise up).

When I went to university a decade and a half ago, one of my teachers was a history professor, Dr. Jim Jones (an incredibly smart and side-splittingly funny man, now sadly deceased - RIP), who had actually taught Jim Morrison during his time attending that same school!
