Yes there are many useful metrics. The one that would be perfect for us is CPU cycles burnt per single request to ASP.NET to find CPU intensive requests. But I guess that is not possible.

You don’t need to use Prometheus scraping endpoints. If you choose that path then you need to secure the endpoint. I’m not sure what sort of auth people use with Prometheus

These metrics should be continuously monitored and notified when there are anomalies.
