Statements from Dems like this one make it harder to press for Supreme Court reform. This ruling was a near-disaster and shows how unhinged SCOTUS has become—now just one vote away from overturning the 14th Amendment. But a sitting senator says they "applaud" the ruling.

Dems' responses like these make all the moaning about the electoral successes of Mamdani-backed candidates look astonishingly out of touch and stupid.

Not great, no. But that's the comedy of the whole thing, right? Mamdani and many of those in that orbit aren't the burn-it-down Leftists they're portrayed as. At this point someone who doesn't take bribes and does fix potholes is so far from the center they look radical.
