This is a real danger I’ve seen a few artists having. Too many people see certain traits of ai art as inherently part of the generating process rather than traits picked up from what they copy. They try to be supportive of real artists but get it wrong and attack the real art instead of the fake.

SO true!!! Thank you for summarizing a challenge some artists face these days. So ironic, considering the accusations often come from people who believe they are helping protect human artists.

1. First thing's first, a cursory glance at their website reveals artwork in the exact same style dating as far back as 2011. I see no reason to doubt they got scraped. 2. What is the comic supposed to prove? 3. What about her brush-hand is disconnected? Looks like a normal, light grip to me.

4. Why is a painter holding a different type of brush in each hand proof of AI? 5. If these really are all problems, what about them rules out human error? 6. Can't speak to the time lapse because idk how Krita works, but even so two anomalies isn't enough to prove AI generation.

her hand is disconnected from the brush in a really weird way, disconnected from the brush, she’s also holding two brushes, one in each hand. she’s not actually gripping it. it’s so weird how ai copied you down to getting physiology wrong hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That is a really weird nitpick. Not only is the brush easy to draw, so it wouldn't take much time on the timelapse anyway, but drawing programs allow you to have a library of resources if there's an item/texture/etc that you use a lot. Could be they already made the resource and pasted it in.

The more of AI I see and hear the more I realize it must be completely and utterly destroyed. The longer we wait the more damage generatie AI will do. We will be pulling AI images out of the internet like its asbestos for generations.
