Maslow's hierarchy of needs is on point. you can't worry about self-actualizing when you're broke and you're out of toilet paper. this country will never get better unless we end poverty-for everyone. there will always be corrupt shitbags but people need the iron weight of poverty off their neck.

100%. I have been there, scrabbling around trying to put two cents together to get ONE roll of toilet paper at the store. it's not cool to do this to people. and the filthy greedy republicans are just stealing it FROM THEM like a vacuum cleaner.
