The Nazis succeeded because millions of Germans turned a blind eye to what was happening right in front of them. People who professed to not know about the trains discharging people at Auschwitz were lying because you could NOT help but hear the sound of thousands of shoes walking cobblestones.

You can immerse yourself in the history from any number of vantage points, but walking around Auschwitz makes it even more real. And no less incomprehensible. Because how can so many “turn a blind eye” to that evil. Putin rains missiles on civilians & Trump is his friend. For the money
