This £40 synth, the M-VAVE FM-1, is my absolute favourite purchase of late.

I went to buy one then noticed there's a teal one coming so now I'm waiting for that 😆

Can you blame me!?

Good news, that colour is already available!

Sadly not on Amazon UK 🥲 unless I want it next year.

eBay or AliExpress will be your friend here.

My god you're not wrong about eBay, holy sheeeeeet

For later reference the custom firmware in my video is one called Jiant for creating generative bleeps and bloops.

Thank you. You just sold me on one 😆 They are going FAST too, mostly out of stock on ebay.

Since they got reverse engineered they've become even more desirable (and they were pretty desirable to begin with) with a new custom firmware appearing every time you blink.

Sounds like XTEINK all over again. Soon we'll have China shipping products with no firmware and a note in the box saying: "The fuck's the point? Vibe code your own!"

And this is kinda the coolest technology has been in a while, 'cos CrossPoint reader is actually kinda awesome.

The official repo is back. github.com/m-vave/fm1_o...
