I disagree w/ @tomscocca.bsky.social 's position here, but at least he reckons with the implications of "N on cloture": he wanted the shutdown, as the best available weapon. But the leading voice against cloture, AOC, was explicitly AGAINST a shutdown, so even the N votes had no consistent plan.

So disgusting, I can’t even read this. Who do we appeal to in order to get rid of him??
