I'd love to compare email inboxes with @aggrocrabgames.bsky.social at some point, because the amount of generated pitches we're getting these days in genuinely heartbreaking. And yes, I agree 100%. I'd rather see your pitch explained with MS Paint sketches than using genAI to "polish" it.

Don't even get me started on the fact that even if those pitches didn't use genAI, they would generally be quite bad. To no ones surprise, I guess.

People who use genAI seem to expect it to somehow manage to do more than polishing a turd. Maybe try having a good idea first and then just skip AI and pitch that

Years ago I wrote down my own game idea in a few bulletpoints, and iterated from there. It will probably be never more than this dumb document but its still better than any generated Pitch
