All the hand-wringing over RAF Fairford. Every military base is a target, which is why they have armed guards. It’s why Palestine Action got a drubbing for breaking in and spraying the jet engines, it should never have happened. Not sure the US would have been quite as lax as the Brits.

We might never know what the bad lads in transits had planned. If they’d had any sense, they would have used stand off munitions and droned the base from several miles away. Maybe they were just ultra keen plane spotters.
