Reminder that Biden failed to remove Trump's postmaster general De Joy who sabotaged the Pandemic election by closing down lots of mail-in vote opportunities, which caused thousands of needless Covid infections, some of which fatal and others resulting in "Long Covid". Zero accuntability.

Exactly so what if you mailed your ballot a month before election day and it STILL didn't get to the election officials to be counted? Slowing the mail is tampering with elections and we all know it.

I beg of everyone-mail someone a note, card, letter, postcard and see how long it takes to arrive. Took 5 weeks for my sister to get a postcard and I’m a state away.

Also, I would like to note that since Trump took office I've actually had mail go missing- which has never before happened in my 71 years.

I work for a nonprofit in the development/fundraising department. If I understand correctly, a similar deadline change occurred for donations, received at the end of the year. Previously, as long as a donation was postmarked by 12/31, it was counted in that year. Now it has to be received by 12/31.

Also the USPS rule change they made this year… where the post office no longer guarantees that the mail will be postmarked on the same day it is received. Basically, the post mark becomes useless as proof of mailing by a certain date. Definitely affects mail in ballots.

I love my post office and my carrier. But way back in trump 1.0, Louis DeJoy started destroying the the postal service organization to bow to trump and to get contracts for his company. USPS is just another proud government service destroyed by trump. Fight back, people.

Yes, dumps post master is slowing down the mail, watch how long it take a letter or bill to get through the mail. Track it. Dump doesn't care about you, he never has, wake up.

It's clearly being attacked. Stop voting by mail. Are we seriously going to let the fascist party of America win because we're too lazy?

DeJoy eliminate 711 automated mail sorters in early 2020 and the USPS is now postmarking everything at the main postal facility. I don't live in the backwoods and that's still 30 miles from me. In rural areas, mail might not get to the main postal facility or its destination daily.

But of course, same bs trump is pulling delay delay delay....

What about the millions in sorting equipment, literal wooden shelves , trucks and other tools DJT took away in 2020 cycle? NEVER REPLACED by Dems. No impeachment against DeJoy? Prosecution of GOP CA for the fake drop boxes ? No Dem state laws against J6rs at poll station or ICE? Wait till 2029?!

I'm in my 70s and have consistently voted since age 18 and for the only time in my life my vote was rejected bcuz it was received late. I mailed it 10 days b4 the deadline.

Why is he there?

Much more important to them is that it's a way for Democrats who have trouble getting to in-person polls to vote. People who can't drive, people who live where there isn't public transportation, people who have to work, people who don't want to go out in a pandemic (a VERY Dem-heavy segment in 2020)
