SCOTUS was wrong to allow Trump to overhaul a federal system to initiate voter registration purges, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote in her dissent. Jackson said the court’s decision could potentially disenfranchise legitimate voters, including naturalized citizens: https://demdock.com/4xFjBIx

I could be wrong but I think the Supreme Court’s Federalist Society Six have a new vision for America. Democracy isn’t a part of that vision. Judge Jackson must feel like a lamb in a lion’s den.

You are *exactly* correct in your assessment. The right has been OBSESSED with reestablishing a hierarchical, caste-based system since FDR, an obsession which saw the window open under Reagan. In a word, they are obsessed with *neofeudalism*. (This structure coupled with faux "christianity.")

3rd-world 'murca. The creation of the world's first Eurocentric banana republic in real time, in front of our eyes. History will blister the Roberts "court" while his name will join others in US infamy, his legacy one of disgrace.

SCOTUS did that because they know they're in trouble if the Democrats win. All the stops are going to be pulled out now; from now till election day everything they can do they will do to obstruct our right to vote. 🗳️🇺🇸

All because of elections for State Representation for Senate and Congress. The rest of the ballots are for State and Local positions. Hence this is why States need to control elections for their states.

Even in the face of several data sets concerning illegal voting finding practically no positive results, Trump tries one more time to direct the outcome of legal elections. SCOTUS enables his folly once again.
