In several red states, direct democracy itself is on the ballot this midterm. Voters will decide whether to protect their power to pass laws at the ballot box — or strip it away. Is this happening in YOUR state? Find out here ➡️ https://demdock.com/47JBcEF

Not in Nebraska, voters twice passed the two-thirds threshold to get weed legalized, and then Republican leadership just didn't. I think each state is a microcosm of the country. Just at various states on the decline to fascism.

Also happening in very blue CO in the very blue town I live in. People don’t pay attention to local gov & that is often where they really get screwed Whether it’s data centers or ICE facilities, local Councils enable this. In CO, they are trying to 2X signature requirements for initiatives.

Republicans in Missouri continue to try to erode citizens' initiatives. Why do voters support Missouri Republicans? They no longer respect the will of the people. They no longer respect democracy.
