Taking a break from coding, back to art. I'm going to take a stab at Tril's attack animation. For starters, I got a decent idle pose going. And what better place to get reference and inspiration on pixel art sword attack animations than Samurai Shodown?

Here's what I have so far. It's not great, and three frames is way too few. When animated you can hardly tell what even happened. Animation (and art for that matter) are not my strengths, so it's going to be a (painful?) learning process.
