Hey #sqlfamily friends, Starting April 2nd, 2025, visiting the UK requires an ETA visa waiver, similar to those you need to go to the US, Australia, and other countries. Don't get stranded at the airport.

An ETA is also the way to go if you're speaking at a conference - even when you're getting paid to speak. I would probably bring the session acceptance email or similar, in case they ask you for the invitation. ping @sqlbits.bsky.social
