Six years ago I wrote this story for Private Eye about Rikki Doolan and Uebert Angel who make a cameo in the Al Jazeera documentary in the context of Ross’s work with the Zimbabwean government. Al Jazeera previously reported on the pair in a 2023 project, “Gold Mafia”.
