New in @skyreader.app: links from the people you follow on Bluesky! Similar to Nuzzel (rip) and the excellent @sill.social, Skyreader can now read your Bluesky timeline and find the links people you follow are sharing so you can read cool things without spending all your time on the timeline.

Tried this, nice idea but it introduces too much random stu into my @skyreader.app Feed. I’d like it as a separate channel though.

Yep, a separate channel is automatically created and that's what I use instead of enabling in the main feed

How can I use the "From your follows" without having it inside my Feeds? I've currently unselected "people you follow on Bluesky".

Tim Disney

Just tap on "from your follows" to see that and "Feeds" to see your normal feed.

would it be possible to break out papers like @paper-feed.bsky.social does?

yep, on the roadmap!

Am I doing something wrong?

Tim Disney

ah actually looks like this is due to an issue with how rsky/blacksky handles the scopes skyreader needs. will try to get a workaround and submit a patch upstream soon

Might just need a refresh? Doing an ingest so might be behind

Is the “like” button new? Does it like the original bsky post?

Tim Disney

@disnetdev.com

haha yep, released that like five minutes ago. not about a bsky post, links to the article and writes either a site.standard.graph.recommend (if stansite) or app.skyreader.social.recommend (if web/rss) docs here: docs.skyreader.app/guide/sharin...

docs.skyreader.appSharing and your linkblogPost links with commentary to a public linkblog that's portable across the Atmosphere.
