I don’t really know where else to look, but based on the Mobygames entry it seems that Papers Please actually was mostly developed solo. The other 103 people listed on the page seem to be translators or other special credits (font makers, free sfx uploaders, etc) but I agree otherwise!

The screencap was of Obra Dinn (I love the game btw), which I admit was a bit of a stretch, since the rest of the staff is mostly either creators of libraries or voice actors. Though you can also argue about how much of the game was truly made alone, given how Pope got feedback from tigsource a lot

Absolutely! I think a big issue of it is that public social media is very fractured, while discord is closed off and not long term enough. I have a bit of a forever project article on this. We're working on a forum to gap this very problem, which will hopefully be out in the next two weeks or so!

Dear god yes. I've been lucky to have a couple friends on board with my plans and with their own ideas that we get to combine and integrate to help and make me company during the process. Because otherwise, I'd have died of loneliness :')
