Wild shit that you're 100% allowed to publish a manifesto on how you plan to dismantle american democracy, and then also go on to be involved with a presidential campaign, win, and be allowed to be appointed to cabinet positions and shit. They aren’t doing all this hoping they’ll survive the midterms. They’re doing all this because they know there will be no midterms. Trump will create some emergency and use it to “postpone” the elections. Unless they know they can’t LOSE the midterms. In any case this is long term effery.

Some of us did read these stories when they first emerged. That's why we said that democracy itself would be in jeopardy if Trump won and the policies of Project 2025 were made a reality. I'd say we didn't scream loudly enough, but it fell on deaf ears.
