What does "surprisingly functional" say about the perception of games? Too many people have come to terms with inferior products at launch. Don't stop requesting a proper standard! The majority of the games still offers a good experience out of the gate, for now, thankfully.

Probably because this past year or so Switch 1 versions of games are rough visually or performance wise

I remember when PS2 got games like God of War II and Persona 4 after PS3 was already on the market. I don't think I ever saw or heard someone say "surprisingly" functional. When a system has been on the market for years, that's years to understand the system's limitations and work around them.
