Funny experience hearing a friend talk about their high school cultural touchstones and having to mentally revise my age estimate. "Was minecraft a childhood game" remains an unbeatable generational dividing line

Experience went both ways really, when I happened to mention when I transitioned and I saw some people at the table mentally bluescreen as they tried to square that with how old they *thought* I was. Turns out the table thought I was maybe a decade younger than I really am, lol
