Looks like a slow news day with Fox "news" reaching for content. That isn't actually all that concerning if you ignore them and recall how hard they have to reach to do anything with it. Either the average viewer doesn't know what furries are, or they sound crazy when telling litterbox myths. 1/3

This isn't downplaying bigots trying to add furries to a target list of trans and queer people. It's about being part of a larger thing that isn't about image. Actually making image a top concern is a lousy practice that gets in the way and is easily abused when drive-by outsiders aren't the issue.

Remember when GSFTW actually invited Fox News to the con without telling people, and the GSFTW board lied to the con's media dept and volunteers to do it without passes, and they lost their con for it? That was a good outcome. Fox News was not the source of the problem there.

Fox News didn't create this problem. Fox was allowed in by management after the stage was set from inside for them to use. The ugliness that a liar like Sotalo represents is the fandom's own mutated, malignant growth. Many close to it are taking action to cut off the oxygen of support for it.
