Black folks really can’t have shit… I need a new stronger slur for AI bros

Is the idea "if they don't shut down they'll get bought out/turned into something horrible?" I understand of course the sheer evil surrounding it all, but from their statement I'm still not QUITE clear on why shutting down.

(Curious esp. as someone trying to make sure I have clear places to guide folks to explicitly AI-free sources for things like stock images)

the implication i got was they're beholden to someone else's whims and their performance isn't good enough to justify it anymore 🫠

literally free images. cc0. funded by donations. but people are too lazy to lift a single finger and sift through a few search results so we lose things like this. it's nauseating. i cannot possibly express in words my hatred and contempt for anyone who uses genAI images in anything
