Shaman King is my favourite manga of all time But if I'm going to watch the anime, I will pick the 2001 series over the faithful 2021 adaptation every single time

It has much better pacing, better fight scenes, fun filler episodes, side plots, and original characters, and it fixes the Ryu Training Timeline plot hole Also the dub's opening is an absolute BANGER

Also, dub-wise, I will always love Hispanic Rio/Ryu, and giving the Taos English accents makes them sound more distinct compared to their fairly generic 2021 voices, though I understand it can be seen as somewhat problematic
