Incidentally it's wild simultaneously - how blatant Musk is he's motivated by revenge against the trans community for his belief we corrupted or stole away his child - how little the mainstream press notices that That human was "his"; a possession. It was taken away, when it thought for itself.

This is another thing. If Musk trashes Talarico by name, not just the press but *Talarico* could— if Talarico had the courage of idk a Jon Ossoff— point out Musk is spending billions for revenge on his own daughter. If Talarico hadn't already publicly agreed with Elon Musk that trans women are men.

People also hate Elon Musk and it has been demonstrated that his money doesn't move the needle when people know it's him. Talarico would have been better off doubling down on trans rights just to neutralize Musk's billions.

He can change his public position, but he can't go back to the point in time where anyone can believe he means anything he says. Whether he is for or against trans rights, you have to consider the possibility he's lying for political advantage. Same on any other subject actually.

I meant his public policy position. Who cares what a politician actually believes and whether they mean it, they are elected to represent the people. I would love it for their principles to align with their position but I want them to publicly support the policies that are humane.

Well… All right. I guess even if he can no longer take a position on any issue and expect anyone to believe him, he can still do this. bsky.app/profile/jame... That's good. That is a legitimately good thing. This is not "snark" by me. That is a good message and he should lean into it further.
