Over and over I keep seeing politicos describe trans girls as "men", or advocate restrictions on trans healthcare; and trans people get upset; and rankfile Democrats look at us upset and go wow, I just don't understand why these online transes are getting so upset about sports

Sports got chosen because they're a really good way of keeping people fantasising about trans bodies, being a communal space for embodied being.

Your brains are short circuiting when you hear the word "sports". A sentence or a paragraph says the word "sports" and you don't read anything in the paragraph before or after that. Well probably not you, you're reading this which means I haven't blocked you yet. But other people

Presumably, the far right predicted or focus-tested that this effect would occur, which is why "transgender" "childrens'" "sports" is the wedge of the wedge of the wedge for the government forcing medical detransition (yes that's happening, read Erin in the Morning's feed instead of the QRTed posts)
