Jackie hosted town halls throughout her district to hear from neighbors and business owners about their concerns. We are in awe of how she continues to show up for her constituents: representing renters, making safer and vibrant public spaces, and fighting for affordable housing.

Despite the Board of Supervisors and Mayor Daniel Lurie voting to prioritize profit-driven development over maintaining affordable housing quotas, Jackie fought to preserve the quotas in the Mission, a neighborhood that continues to price out working families.

DSA works to organize renters and workers to fight for better conditions. And alongside our socialist-in-office, we support electoral efforts to build a truly affordable San Francisco. We know there are more of us that believe in this vision, but we have to come together.
