Reason #427 why the notification dialogs in Windows 11 need a "Fuck Off" button. The choice of "Yes" or "No, thanks" just doesn't cut it, frankly. (the person who immediately replies "bUt yOU shOuLd rUn LinUX!" is reason #428 why such a button would be a good idea.)

(I love Linux. Linux is amazing. It runs my cloud VMs, hosts all my websites, runs my Raspberry Pi, and I have a Linux machine I use for all kinds of things... but for my main workstation, I will run Linux when Linux runs Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Visio, SnagIt, and Camtasia.)

It really is just adobe holding me back at this point, indesign and illustrator for me are just too strong industry standards and incompatibility issues with alternatives are unacceptable for work.

Every industry has it's one core tool that holds it back, for me it's Solidworks. For my colleagues it's Excel (& all the custom apps built on top). There's always something that causes Windows lock-in. Starting from scratch one could probably use Linux and never fall into the trap. Too late for me😢
