OpenAI projects it will burn $852bn through 2030 on revenues of $673bn. For it to succeed, it will need to raise $50 billion to $100 billion a year without fail, and grow by 10x by the end of the decade. By the way, this isn't a situation where Larry can get bailed out. He's pledged $60bn of Oracle shares to margin loans, though we don't know how much for (could be $21bn+), and his wealth is mostly tied up in those shares. Even a hint of a bailout would send its price into freefall.
