She dust-bathes every single day. She needs a roost, UV light, room to stretch, and an off-season her body evolved to have. The egg industry gave her none of it. Click through for self-care advice from a chicken 👇

She dust-bathes every single day. It controls parasites, conditions feathers, and regulates temperature. It is not optional. It is survival.

She needs a roost to sleep. In the wild, she sleeps on branches above ground predators. Wire flooring is not a roost. Her body knows the difference.

She needs 6 square feet to fully spread her wings. A conventional battery cage gives her less than 1.

Her wild ancestor had a built-in off-season. Her body regulated output and rested. The egg industry overrides it with 16 hours of artificial light to keep production up.

No dust. No roost. No wings spread. No sunlight. No off-season.
