I'm at Selby Stadium for the Oberlin @ OWU game! It's the last chance for each of these teams to pick up a much-needed win. OWU comes in with two wins on the season while Oberlin is winless.

Despite the two teams coming in with two combined wins, the Bishops fans have showed out! Any parking near the stadium is full. Yeomen fans, less so.

I'm late to posting this due to Internet issues, but we've already had: * A fumble on the second play of the game to set up a short field for an OWU touchdown * A fake punt on the next drive from Oberlin, which turned into a good run and a first down * A 70-odd yard run from OWU

In case you needed more proof that this is good sickos ball, the scoreboard is currently showing some kind of static and probably has some broken panels

Oberlin stay on the field for 4th and 2 and get the first down! This is what I was hoping to see from a hungry program

Yeomen convert on 4th and 2 for the second time this drive, but the endzone pass is intercepted for Oberlin's second turnover of the game

Oberlin throws another interception, and the game feels like it's quickly getting out of hand. A PI against them is the first penalty of the game, and now OWU just has 19 yards to go to make it a 3-score game.

OWU's drive is hampered by a pass deflected by a ref. They shoot for the endzone on 4th and 8 and miss. It seems like OWU's quarterback isn't accurate enough to get anything going in the air, but whenever they go to the ground game, Oberlin just can't stop them.

Remarkably, Oberlin goes 3-for-3 on converting 4th-and-2. They've been able to move the ball better than I expected, but turnovers have kept them from finishing a drive.

4th-and-1 is a miss, though. Oberlin's QB is more accurate than OWU's, but the OWU QB has shown better pocket awareness and probably speed, being able to sneak through and pick up yards where need be. Some of that is due to the relative porosity of the Yeomen D-line, though.

We need a chain measurement on an OWU 4th down, and it's short! A Yeoman player laid down on the ground to eyeball the measurement before th chains came out.

14-0 is our halftime score, but it feels like it could just as easily be 21-0 or 7-7. Turnovers have stymied Oberlin's hopes, but OWU hasn't been able to consistently convert. Gotta grab a concessions dog!

A desperation throw from Oberlin is out of the hands of its intended receiver, but into the hands of another for a first down!

At this point there's simply no situation in which Oberlin will kick a FG. They don't convert on 4th and 5 from the 10.

Now an unsportsmanlike against Oberlin. With less than three minutes left in the season, these teams are playing for pride here.
