like right before i posted this i contacted bsky support who were like sorry but instead of just manually flicking a switch they make me go to shithouse verification's support team who seem wholly uninterested in answering my support ticket so i'm still stuck on Babysky

not to bitch and moan but I've been trying to verify this for a few days now and according to the singular system Bluesky uses for age verification my card is fake and my face is unacceptable. if it isn't obvious I've been a grown ass adult the whole time I've been on this site. I pay taxes dude

am aware of methods of bypassing this, it's a decentralised network after all, but I'd prefer the path of least resistance be open to me - especially since this means there's likely a big "MINOR" flag on my account in their back end that'll fuck me up if I post anything that triggers a bot nsfw flag
