Any plans for one-click updates on shared hosting (not Cloudflare)? Right now I update a local copy with PowerShell, then copy it over to the server by hand. An updater in the admin panel, or a documented upgrade path for non-Cloudflare setups, would make self-hosting much smoother.

It's difficult. It very much depends on how you deploy new versions of the code

Fair enough. My setup is cPanel shared hosting with Setup Node.js App. Would a documented recipe for hosts like that help, e.g. git pull + npm install + restart? Happy to test it and write it up.

Very good so far. Please don’t repeat WordPress mistake by adding a bunch of features that people don’t want. UX / UI is more important because non-tech types are the main users of a CMS
